Discuss Your ProjectEvery system is planned around the available space, desired appearance, livestock, equipment, and care requirements.
Decisions are guided by water quality, biological balance, proper filtration, and the long-term health of the aquatic environment.
Maintenance plans support consistent system performance while helping prevent avoidable problems and equipment issues.
Recommendations are tailored to each client’s goals, comfort level, schedule, and desired involvement.
Our Process
A structured process helps ensure each aquatic environment is practical, healthy, and suited to its location.
Projects involving aquariums under 200 gallons can typically begin with a phone consultation. Aquariums over 200 gallons generally require an in-person consultation so the space, access, utilities, and installation requirements can be properly evaluated.
The aquarium, filtration, equipment, aquascape, and care plan are selected according to the space, livestock goals, visual preferences, and maintenance expectations.
The system is assembled, positioned, connected, and prepared for operation. Custom plumbing is provided for traditional sump-filter systems when applicable. All-in-one sump systems are excluded from custom plumbing. Certain aquarium systems may use the manufacturer-provided plumbing unless another configuration is specified during the design process.
Ongoing maintenance can be adapted to the client’s preferred level of involvement. Clients may take a hands-on role with guidance or choose a more hands-off service plan managed by Hydro Habitats.
